Over the past year I have been very busy with family and work finding little time for creative pursuits. I have also injured my right shoulder making painting almost impossible at the moment. Feeling a bit despondent I spent some time trying to work out how I could still have a creative outlet given my current situation.
And then I discovered a new and rewarding way to be creative in small spaces and in short bursts. Zentangles! some in the traditional format of a 3.5″ square, artist cards, and others on A5 and A4.
I am having some serious fun with these and plan to submit some to a Canadian artist card exchange and others into the “Frameless” exhibition to be held at Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery in October.
